Holy Orders and Consecrated Life
“A man knows when he has found his vocation when he stops thinking about how to live and begins to live.”
Thomas Merton
Discerning your vocation is a normal part of the Christian life; you do not have to do it alone.
The Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Office of Vocations has many resources to help you discern your calling to the priesthood, the permanent diaconate, consecrated life, or to marriage.
We also recommend that you speak with our pastor.
“Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time; thus, it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry. It includes three degrees: episcopate, presbyterate, and diaconate (CCC 1536).”
If you feel the Lord is calling you to be a priest or a permanent deacon, please contact our pastor. You can also visit the Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Office of Vacations at https://www.calledbychrist.com/ to learn more.
