St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church

Announcements

Congratulations to Mary and Al Stumm who received the 2018 Knights of Columbus Family of the Year throughout the state of Georgia award.

Father's Day novena envelopes are available on the gifts table in the narthex.

Would you like to Present the Gifts during Holy Mass? A sign-up sheet is posted on the Ministry Table outside Fr. Adrian's office. One of the family members should be a practicing Catholic, or actively pursuing the faith. We also ask that family members plan ahead and be dressed in modest and dignified attire, no shorts, blue jeans or bare shoulders.

On July 1st a new Sunday morning Holy Mass schedule will be implemented. Holy Mass on Sunday mornings will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. only. This change will only affect Sunday mornings. Saturday and Sunday evening Holy Mass times will remain the same. We are still in the planning stages, but we hope to offer a simple breakfast on Sunday Mornings following Holy Mass, when classes are in session, and possibly every Sunday. Religious Education classes will take place from 10:45 to 11:50 a.m.

The Religious Education department is currently registering children for Vacation Bible School which runs from June 18th through the 21st this year. Please see the Bulletin for additional details, and call the church if you would like to volunteer to help with Vacation Bible School.

Have you lost a loved one and are looking for a support group? Our parish Bereavement Ministry will meet on Sunday, June 10th, at 2:30 p.m. in Fr. Adrian's office. All are welcome to join us.

Prayer Garden

Parishioners are once again invited to purchase engraved brick(s) in honor of family and friends, living and/or deceased, for our perpetual Prayer Garden.

Please complete the attached order form and return it with your check made payable to St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Donations for bricks are tax-deductible. Proceeds will help pay the mortgage on Our Lady of Guadalupe Religious Education Center.

Thank you for taking part in St. Vincent de Paul’s Prayer Garden project. For additional information please contact Martha Vahanian at (770) 443-0566 or mvahanian@svdpatl.com
