St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church

Evangelization and apologetics will be the topics during this Wednesday's RCIA class.

We are seeking additional volunteers to maintain the church lawn and shrubbery. The front of the property is mowed weekly and those volunteers rotate, normally requiring them to mow the lawn once a month. This does not include the Prayer Garden as it is maintained by the Knights of Columbus. Please notify the parish office if you would like to volunteer.

All parish volunteers should have received an invitation to our Adult Mardi Gras Appreciation Dinner. If you are a church volunteer and you did not receive your invitation, please notify the parish office as soon as possible.

Holy Masses for Ash Wednesday will be celebrated at 12 noon and 6:30 p.m. on March 1st. A ministry sign-up sheet is posted on the liturgical ministries bulletin board.

The Stations of the Cross will be prayed on Fridays, at 6:30 p.m., during Lent. The Knights of Columbus will host a Fish Fry each Friday at 7 p.m. following the Stations.

A crucifer and 2 candle bearers are needed during the Stations of the Cross. If you are available to serve, a sign-up sheet is posted on the liturgical ministries bulletin board.

It is time again to enjoy homemade treats baked by the women of the parish. The Women’s Altar Rosary Guild will hold a bake sale next weekend following all Holy Masses. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Growing in Grace Mortgage Reduction fund. Thank you for your support whether it is by baking or buying.

Prayer Garden

Parishioners are once again invited to purchase engraved brick(s) in honor of family and friends, living and/or deceased, for our perpetual Prayer Garden.

Please complete the attached order form and return it with your check made payable to St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Donations for bricks are tax-deductible. Proceeds will help pay the mortgage on Our Lady of Guadalupe Religious Education Center.

Thank you for taking part in St. Vincent de Paul’s Prayer Garden project. For additional information please contact Martha Vahanian at (770) 443-0566 or
